SGP Laminated Glass

SGP laminated glass is a high-performance safety glass made by permanently bonding two or more pieces of glass with SGP (SentryGlas® Plus) ionoplast interlayer film as the interlayer material through high-temperature and high-pressure processes. Due to the extremely high strength and rigidity of SGP film, this product is significantly superior to traditional PVB laminated glass in terms of impact resistance, wind pressure resistance, load-bearing capacity and integrity after damage. It is widely used in building curtain walls, glass Bridges, skylights, guardrails and high-end construction projects.

1.Ultra-high strength, with a stronger load-bearing capacity

The strength of SGP interlayer film is approximately five times that of ordinary PVB film, and its stiffness can reach about 100 times that of ordinary PVB.

This characteristic enables SGP laminated glass to withstand greater loads and harsher usage environments. Even with a thinner glass configuration, it can still meet the requirements of high-standard architectural design.

For large curtain walls and super-large-span structures, this means lighter structural weight and higher design freedom.
