Color Pvb Laminated Glass

In simple terms, colored pvb laminated glass = two or more layers of glass + one colored intermediate layer (film), which are permanently bonded together through high-temperature and high-pressure processes.

Structural composition

• Glass substrate: It is usually ordinary float glass, ultra-clear glass (reducing greenish tinge and making the color display more true), and even tempered glass. Tempered glass can be made into "colored film laminated safety glass", which has higher strength and safety factor.
• Colored intermediate layer: This is the key to achieving color. The most commonly used materials are colored PVB (polyvinyl acetal) or SGP (ionic intermediate layer), EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate), etc. During the production process, dyes or pigments are evenly mixed into these polymer materials to make films with various colors.

Manufacturing process (dry interlayer method)

• Cutting and cleaning: Cut the glass and color film to the required dimensions.
• Sheet stacking: Stack them in the order of "glass + color film + glass".
• Pre-pressing (vacuuming, heating for initial bonding) : Place it in the pre-pressing machine, vacuuming and moderately heating to initially expel the air between layers and make the film initially adhere to the glass.
• Autoclave processing: The pre-pressed semi-finished products are placed in an autoclave and maintained at a specific high temperature (usually about 120-150°C) and high pressure (about 12-15 atmospheres) for several hours. This process completely melts the film, thoroughly expels air, and permanently and firmly bonds it with the glass, forming a complete and transparent colored glass

Rich decorative properties: This is the most prominent advantage. The color, transparency and pattern can almost be customized infinitely. The color is evenly distributed in the middle layer, never fading or peeling off, and its performance far exceeds that of spraying or baking paint on the glass surface.
Outstanding safety: Even if the glass is broken due to impact, the fragments will firmly adhere to the colored film in the middle and will not fly and hurt people, effectively preventing falling objects from penetrating and greatly enhancing safety.

Sound insulation performance: The middle film layer is a damping material that can effectively absorb sound wave vibrations, and its sound insulation effect is much better than that of ordinary glass.
Ultraviolet blocking: PVB and other films can filter out over 99% of harmful ultraviolet rays, protecting indoor furniture, fabrics and artworks from fading due to ultraviolet radiation.
Controlling sunlight: Choosing dark or specific-colored films can provide a certain degree of shading and reduce glare.
Structural integrity: It can remain as a whole without falling apart after cracking and maintain its barrier function for a certain period of time.

Building facades and curtain walls: Create a distinctive colorful architectural appearance while meeting safety regulations.
Interior partitions and walls: Used as colorful partitions or decorative walls in offices, hotels, shopping malls, and residences, they serve both as divisions and artistic installations.
Skylights and skylights: They infuse the interior with colorful light and create charming light and shadow effects.
Doors and Windows: Especially large floor-to-ceiling Windows and doors, they are both safe and beautiful.
Guardrails and stairs: Used for glass guardrails and stair treads, it is safe and visually transparent with a modern effect.

PACKAGE

1. Paper and Cork liner will be put between every two glass to prevent them hurt each other.
2. Iron/Plastic belt for consolidation.
3. Under wooden crate there will be legs for forklift easy loading and unloading.
