In layman's terms, it is the glass used on a fireplace. The high-temperature glass installed on the fireplace is both aesthetically pleasing and energy-efficient. It can effectively prevent smoke from entering the room and at the same time keep the burning flames from escaping outside the fireplace door. The thermal conductivity of fireplace glass is relatively high, which can transfer heat into the room and seal the fireplace opening at the same time. It can effectively observe the combustion situation and flame size inside the fireplace door, and the energy-saving effect is obvious.

Fireplace-specific glass is fireplace glass. The temperature in various fireplaces is very high, and some even come into contact with open flames, which makes a special type of glass needed for fireplaces. Fireplace glass has excellent resistance to temperature differences between hot and cold, high temperature resistance and good transparency, making it the best accessory for fireplaces.

Fireplaces, as heating devices, have been widely used in various households. The main internal factors that make fireplace glass popular are its greater safety and higher heat resistance. Tianjin Jintai and Baixi fireplace glass have been safely serving various users for over 10 years. With the advancement of technology, the temperature resistance grade of fireplace glass is getting higher and higher. The fireplace glass used in open flame fireplaces has excellent resistance to high and low temperatures and is suitable for all kinds of household users and enterprises and institutions in the north and south.

Mechanical properties

Density (ρ): approximately 2.6 g/cm ³;

2. Elastic modulus (E): approximately.93 x 10 ³ MPa;

This test was conducted in accordance with the DIN 13316 standard. Apply tension or compressive load to a rod-shaped test piece to cause a change in its length. The magnitude of this change depends on the inherent properties of the material and the size of the load. The elastic modulus describes the relationship between tensile (compressive) force and the change in material length.

For example:

Low elastic modulus: highly deformed or deformed under low stress

High elastic modulus: Low deformation or deformation only under high stress

Elastic modulus comparison: rubber 0.05 kN/mm ², aluminum 73 kN/mm ², glass 60/90 kN/mm ².

3. Bending strength (σbB): approximately 35 MPa(Bending strength test is conducted in accordance with DIN EN 1288 part 5 (R45) standard.)

Chemical properties

Acid resistance :DIN 12116- minimum grade S3

Fireplace glass

2. Alkali resistance: According to ISO 695- minimum grade A2

3. Water resistance :DIN ISO 719-HGB 1

4. Surface changes that occur during use

Glass has good resistance to surface erosion by chemical substances. In individual cases or under special circumstances, such as corrosive combustion exhaust gas (acidified substances at high temperatures), changes may occur on the glass surface. In such applications, actual testing must be conducted before use.

Application

1. Panels of fire boilers, wave soldering, and panels of stoves and fireplaces.

Fireplace glass

2. Protective panels for electric heaters, high-performance spotlights and floor lamps.

3. Red and ultraviolet drying equipment.

4. Such as infrared drying equipment, ultraviolet protective equipment, barbecue grills, laboratory and high-temperature welding masks, safety glass, etc.

5. Wood-burning fireplaces, electric fireplaces, real fire fireplaces and other series, etc.

6. It is widely applied in a series of products such as gas fireplaces and real fire fireplaces, and is particularly suitable for fields with extremely large temperature differences and strong temperature shocks.
