Glazed glass and lacquered glass are two common types of decorative panel materials at present. These two materials have decorative effects and can be used to make various doors, Windows, cabinets and furniture products. Do we know what the differences are between glazed glass and lacquered glass? Both of these two types of glass belong to decorative building materials, but they are essentially different. Below, the author will introduce to us the differences between glazed glass and lacquered glass. Friends who are not clear about the differences can distinguish them through the following functions.

The differences between glazed glass and lacquered glass:

I. Functional Differences

Colored glazed glass

It is cheaper and easier to install than other materials such as brick, stone or wood.

2. Diverse colors and patterns (generally customizable according to customer requirements), offering a wide range of choices. In curtain wall combinations, it can set off other glasses or be color-matched.

3. It has the characteristics of no absorption, no penetration and is easy to clean.

4. Colored glazed glass can be installed in supporting structures.

5. The colored glaze is an inorganic colored glaze of the same material as the glass, which does not fade or peel off. Therefore, the original color tone remains consistent with the lifespan of the building.

6. The glaze surface can absorb and reflect part of the solar heat energy, thus having the effect of energy conservation.

7. The colored glaze is easy to withstand the non-rigid adhesive used to separate the arch shoulders and back.

After tempering treatment, the product features outstanding mechanical properties, impact resistance and thermal shock resistance, and has a higher level of safety.

9. It can undergo coating, lamination, forming hollow structures and other composite processing to achieve special functions for other uses.

Lacquered glass

It has strong water resistance and acid and alkali resistance.

2. It has excellent anti-slip function.

3. It has extremely strong adhesion and is not easy to fall off.

4. Use environmentally friendly coatings, which are healthy and safe.

5. Strong color selection.

6. Strong resistance to ultraviolet rays and color aging.

7. Strong stain resistance and easy to clean.

8. Strong weather resistance and strong compatibility with structural adhesives.

Ii. Other differences

Colored glaze: It is sprayed, painted or printed with inorganic glaze and then baked at a high temperature of 620-720 degrees, fusing seamlessly with the glass body.

Baking varnish: A mixture of organic high-molecular polymers and organic/inorganic pigments is sprayed, painted or printed, and then baked at 100-150 degrees Celsius to solidify.

The glaze composition of the colored glazed glass is almost the same as that of the glass itself. After completion, it becomes one with the glass, and its service life is the same as that of the glass itself.

The lacquered glass material is different from the glass base; it is only physically attached to the surface of the glass.
