Colored glazed glass is a decorative glass product that is wear-resistant and resistant to acids and alkalis. Inorganic glaze (also known as ink) is printed onto the surface of the glass, and then processed through drying, tempering or heat treatment to permanently sinter the glaze onto the surface of the glass. This product has high functionality and decorative value. It has many different colors and patterns, such as strip, mesh and electric patterns, etc. Patterns can also be designed separately according to the different needs of customers.

performance feature
1. It is cheaper and easier to install than other materials such as brick, stone or wood.
2. The colors and patterns are diverse (generally customizable according to customer requirements), offering a wide range of choices. In curtain wall combinations, it can set off other glasses or be used for color matching.
3. Colored glazed glass can be installed on the supporting structure.
4. It has the characteristics of no absorption, no penetration and is easy to clean.
5. The colored glaze is an inorganic colored glaze of the same material as the glass, which does not fade or peel off. Therefore, the original color tone remains consistent with the lifespan of the building.
6. The colored glaze is easy to accept the non-rigid adhesive used to separate the arched shoulders and back.
7. The glaze surface can absorb and reflect part of the solar heat energy, thus having the effect of energy conservation.
8. It can undergo composite processing such as coating, lamination, and synthetic hollow coating to obtain special properties for other uses.

After tempering treatment, the final product has excellent mechanical properties, impact resistance and thermal shock resistance, and higher safety performance.
The application and development of glazed glass According to the chronological order, the application and development of glazed glass can be divided into the following four stages:
The first stage
The earliest architectural glazed glass was single-color fully coated tempered glazed glass, followed by the emergence of multi-color printed glazed tempered glass that imitated the appearance of marble or granite. At this time, the curtain wall design was also relatively conservative, mostly using only single-layer colored glazed tempered glass. The reason for using tempered glass with colored glaze is simply that the color consistency of colored glaze is better than that of natural stone. It can be reused in large quantities without the obvious color difference in large-scale engineering projects caused by the reserves of specific colored stones. Moreover, it is relatively inexpensive, lightweight, strong and safe. This stage is only the primary stage of colored glaze.
The second stage
After realizing that imitation is always clumsy and creation has vitality, architects, based on their understanding of the colored glaze technique, gradually introduced silk-screened colored glaze tempered glass with simple geometric patterns such as stripes, dots and blocks. It is mainly used for floor slabs and columns, achieving the effect of blocking the view and improving and beautifying the appearance. At this time, single-layer tempered glass was still the mainstream of colored glazed glass. This stage has broken away from imitation and entered the early stage of free play. However, as architects do not fully understand all the techniques of glass deep processing, at this stage, the application forms are mostly colored glazed tempered glass products, and there are not many further composite processed products.
The third stage
Based on the second stage, the product forms of colored glazed glass will be expanded to include composite glass forms such as colored glazed coated glass and colored glazed insulating glass. In fact, it has expanded the product range of colored glazed glass. On the basis of making good use of its decorative function, it has also begun to pay attention to the energy-saving and shading functions of colored glazed glass.
