What Is Ultra Clear Tempered Glass?
Ultra clear tempered glass is a high-end glass product that combines the characteristics of ultra-white glass with high light transmission and low color bias and tempered glass with high strength and safety. By reducing iron content and tempering process, it achieves almost colorless transparency and impact resistance, and is widely used in scenes with high requirements for light transmission, aesthetics and safety.

Production process determines quality
Ultra-white substrate melting
Raw material control: The iron content of quartz sand is ≤0.003% (0.1% for ordinary sand)
Special melting furnace: All-oxygen combustion technology + Platinum channel (to avoid secondary pollution)
Optimization of tempering process
Low-temperature tempering: Gradient cooling from 620℃ to 300℃ (to reduce optical deformation)
Surface compressive stress: ≥90MPa (ordinary glass is only 69MPa)
Coating strengthening (optional)
Anti-reflective (AR) coating: After double-sided coating, the light transmittance reaches 97.5% (such as the curtain wall of Apple's flagship store)
Self-cleaning coating: TiO₂ nanolayer (contact Angle < 5° C, rainwater automatically washes away dirt
Package
1. Glass packed in seaworthy wooden crates or plywood cases.
2. Paper interlayer between every two pieces of glass or powder sprayed onto its surface.
3. Iron/plastic belt for consolidation.
